Alright so two news in one. First of all, we’ve got confirmation that the official Nintendo GameCube adapter is still compatible with the Switch 2 console. However, no news if Nintendo will keep selling the adapter or if they are going to manufacture more original GameCube controllers. We will have to wait and see. Source
The MSRP for the Switch 2 GameCube controller has come out on the Nintendo UK website: “(It) will be exclusively available for Nintendo Switch Online members and will initially only be offered to those invited to pre-order a Nintendo Switch 2 console. £58.99” Source
As for Japan, the price will be set at 7,980円. Source

The US store page is live too, MSRP $64.99 and during May 8 and May 12 it will only be available for early purchase access via invite for Nintendo Switch Online members (don’t need expansion pak subscription to purchase though) and then open to all NSO members starting the 13th.
